Below are the most common errors you may encounter if a payment has failed:
Transaction cancelled/abandoned/timed out:
If your transaction was canceled, abandoned, or timed out, it means you didn't finish the transaction within the designated time limit, or you abandoned it altogether. To retry the transaction, please ensure you complete the checkout process within the specified time. Also, make sure you have a stable internet connection to avoid interruptions during the checkout.
Card authentication and 3DS issues
This indicates that you might not have entered your details correctly. To retry the transaction, please ensure that you have correctly entered your card details and One Time Password (OTP) code when attempting the transaction.
Expired card
This error occurs when you attempt a transaction using an expired credit card. Please ensure that you have entered the card number correctly. If your credit card is expired, you will not be able to use it.
Insufficient funds
This means the issuing bank has declined the transaction due to insufficient funds in the account. Please ensure the account has enough funds available before attempting the transaction again.
Invalid card number
If you receive this response code, it means that the card used for the transaction is invalid. The card details were included and formatted correctly, but the bank has determined that the card number itself is invalid. This could be due to the card number being entered incorrectly. Please verify the card number and try the transaction again.
Request type not permitted
If you receive the message "Your request has been declined because the request type is not permitted on the card,” it means the issuing bank has indicated that the specific card type used may not support this transaction. For example, attempting to fund via credit card while entering the details of a bank debit card. Please try a different card, or contact your issuing bank for further assistance.
"Your request has been submitted. However, the status of the transaction is unsuccessful"
If you see the message "Your request has been submitted. However, the status of the transaction is unsuccessful," it may be because you've attempted to deposit multiple times using the same card, and the transactions have been declined.
Please try a different payment method or use another card under your name for future deposits with Axi. If you need further clarification on this issue, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer support team for assistance.
If your deposit is unsuccessful for any other reason, please reach out to our customer support team to verify the reason for the rejection.
