Opening a trade
To place a trade, go to the Market tab and click on an individual trading product. This will open the Instrument Factsheet, displaying a chart with analysis, live buy and sell prices, and other useful information.
Next, choose the direction of your trade (Long or Short) by clicking either Buy or Sell. Within the Buy and Sell order ticket, there are two options: ‘Buy/Sell now’ and ‘Buy/Sell at rate’. For both, you can adjust the Units, Take Profit, Stop Loss, and Leverage levels. After confirming your trade direction, an order ticket will be opened.
Note: The default option is a ‘Buy/Sell trade now’ position. If you wish to ‘Buy/Sell at rate’, click the toggle and select the price you wish to Buy or Sell at. Once the market hits your set price, your position will be opened.
Once the order ticket is opened you can select your trade size by adjusting lots, choosing your desired leverage, reviewing your margin and exposure, deciding whether to set a ‘stop loss’ or ‘take profit’ (recommended to help manage risk), or specify an ‘open at’ rate for buying or selling. After reviewing your trade settings, click “Open Trade” to confirm.

Monitoring and editing open positions
Open and pending positions can be monitored through the Positions tab.
To edit an open position, navigate to the Positions tab and select the position you wish to amend. Click Edit and make the necessary adjustments, for example, adding a stop loss or take profit level. To confirm your changes, click “Edit Position”.
How to close or cancel an order
To close a position, navigate to the Positions tab. You have the option to close a trade fully or partially.
- Fully Close a Position: Select the open position you wish to close, click “Close” and confirm your choice by clicking on “Close Position”. You can view your closed positions in the Positions tab.
- Partially Close a Position: Select the open position you want to partially close, click “Close” and enable the “Partial Close” toggle. Select the number of lots you wish to close, then click “Close Position”. You can review your closed positions in the Positions tab.
IMPORTANT: Please ensure you have no open trades and that there is no outstanding balance in your account before requesting for the account to be closed.
To cancel an order, navigate to the Positions tab, find the order you wish to cancel and click “Cancel”.
Note: You can view closed positions for a specified trading period by selecting the start date and end date. Historical records are not available beyond 31 days.
