Using the MAM terminal
Once an MAM account has been opened, a license file is required to access the MAM management software. This is generated from the MAM administrator platform and will be sent by the Account Manager to the MAM Master.
The client will need to open the MAM software on a PC/computer/laptop, select “File”, then “Set License”. Select the relevant Directory, then click “Open”.
Once your account has been approved, your Account Manager will provide access details. When MAM Client application is loaded for the first time it is required to initialize the accounts before trading can be performed. To initialize the master account it is required to select one of the allocation methods (please bear in mind the allocation methods offered by Axi).
To initialize the sub-accounts, select the relevant sub-accounts and click “Activate Selected” on the popup menu.
After the accounts have been initialized in the MAM application, trading can be performed on the master account via the MT4 Client Terminal or MAM Client application.
MAM Master Orders
This tab displays the Master and Investor (Slave) orders. When a Master order is selected, the list of corresponding Investor orders (Sub Orders) is also shown.
MAM Investor (Slave) Orders
The Investor /Sub Orders tab is used to track all the Investor /sub orders.
Sometimes there may be unallocated trades on the Investor /sub-accounts (for example, due to an Investor account trading separately from the master account). This screen shows all the trades on the Investor /subaccounts, regardless of their allocation status.
The Investor /sub-orders table allows for column grouping which can make it easier to view orders. Groupings can be made by any column.
By default, groupings are made by master order. When expanding a grouped row, the Investor /sub orders will be shown for a particular master order.
To export Investor /sub orders to an Excel spreadsheet, select the Investor /sub orders, right-click on the Investor /sub orders table, then use the “Export Sub Orders” option from the popup menu.
Closing MAM orders
Please note: Sub orders cannot be closed partially, however Master orders can.
Individual Investor orders can be closed in the MAM Client application.
Whenever an Investor (Slave) order is closed, the Master order is closed partially relative to the volume of the closed Investor order. To close the Investor order, double-click on it to bring up the “Order Execution” window, then click “Close Order”.
The master trades can be closed the same way. Double-click on the master order to open the “Order Execution” window and close the master order.
To export sub-orders to Excel select the sub-orders and then right-click on the sub-orders table. Use the “Export Sub Orders” option from the popup menu.
Reports
This tab shows the history of trades on the master account and its corresponding sub-trades in a master-detail format.
To request history report, select “From” and “To” dates. Then press “Request” button.
Expanding the master trade record will display the sub-orders allocated for it (the sub-orders are lit green). Select any number of trades and right-click on the table. This will bring the popup menu from which you may choose to Export to Excel or Export to HTML.
