Depositing with cryptocurrency and prepaid cards
Cryptocurrencies
Axi has a combined crypto deposit limit of the equivalent of USD 500,000.00 within a 30-day period. This applies to all crypto funding methods.
In the event your deposit is greater than the deposit limit, we will return the excess amount to the wallet recorded in your Axi profile. All transfers must be made from a crypto wallet in your possession, and we do not accept transfers from other FX brokers.
All deposits to Axi must be accompanied by the unique tag linked to your deposit request. If you use the tag incorrectly or transact with no tag, please contact our support team immediately.
IMPORTANT: Axi only supports USDT via the Ethereum blockchain (ERC-20) and USDT via the Tron blockchain (TRC-20). Payments sent to Axi via other blockchains (e.g., Binance (BEP2 and BEP20) which support USDT will be unrecoverable, and your funds will be lost.
Prepaid/Virtual Cards
A prepaid card is a payment card with a value of currency stored on the card itself, not in an external account (such as a bank account) maintained by a financial institution. This means no network access is required by the payment collector as funds can be withdrawn and deposited directly from the card.
Axi will only accept prepaid cards that are:
- Linked to a bank account (proof must be provided by the client)
- Not loaded with cash payments (credit cards and bank transfers only)
- Overseen by a financial regulator
Examples of cards that are accepted include Revolut, N26, PostePay, Wirex, Singtel Dash, UBS prepaid cards, Grab Pay, Skrill and Neteller cards, Crypto.com cards, HYPE Prepaid cards, First Bank of Nigeria Prepaid cards (FBNBank), KBC Prepaid cards and Intesa Sanpaolo Prepaid cards.
If you are unsure whether your prepaid/virtual card is accepted, please contact our Customer Support team before making a transaction request.
