Everything to know about Signal Providers
What is a signal provider and how can I copy one?
A Signal Provider is a trader who grants access to the data on his or her trading platform, allowing other traders to copy them on their own trading accounts. Signal providers may also be referred to as "Master” traders.
To find a Signal Provider to copy, go to the Discover tab and select the Search box. You can there enter the user, friend, or signal that you’re looking for. Upon entering the trader’s profile, you will see an option called “Copy” and all you need to do is to press it and you will be able to copy that signal provider after adjusting your settings.
Steps to become a signal provider
Please follow the steps below to open an Axi Copy Trading account and link your MT4 account:
- If you have not downloaded the app, go to the App Store or Google Play
- Install the app and create a profile (if you have already created one, you can use the same profile)
- Go to the "Account" tab, and click “Link an account.” If you do not have an account yet, sign up for one.
- Choose “I want to provide signals” and enter your Axi MT4 account details (server, login, password). If you do not have an account yet, click “Create one now.”
Please note: You can’t use the same account to copy trades and offer signals.
To become an authorized Signal Provider and charge fees, you would need to go through KYC and sign the agreement with Pelican Exchange Limited (Pelican). After you have completed the steps above, please do the following:
- Complete the application form in-App
- A notification will be sent to Pelican who will approve your application if you meet the criteria. If your application is rejected you will receive an email with further feedback. After being approved you can set a fee if you wish.

I want some copiers to stop copying my signal. How can I do that?
Please kindly provide your account number and email address, indicating the account number and full name of the copier you wish to stop copying you. Thereafter, we will forward it to our Pelican Team to prevent them from doing so. Once this has been done, you will be informed.
Copiers can’t find my signal on the Discover page, why is that so?
Please be informed that the App name and the Signal name are two different things.
To create a signal name, go to the “Account” tab, choose “Edit Profile”, and click on Signal Name entering a signal name. This is the name users can search on the Discovery page.
Can I see a signal provider’s open trades before I copy them?
No, this is not possible unless you copy them. However, you can view their past performances and the markets that they have traded.
To do this, navigate to the “Signals” section. You can then click on the trader you want to copy and view a summary of the trader’s past performances.
