How can I change my password?
If you forget or want to change your password to the Axi Client Portal or MT4 platform, use the information below to reset it one of three ways.
IMPORTANT: The Client Portal password and the MT4 master password are the same. If you change your client Portal password, you will change the MT4 trading account password (and vice versa). At the moment, the option to utilize distinct passwords is unavailable.
Reset password via the Client Portal
To reset your password using the Axi Client Portal, click this link. You will need to input your MT4 login number and the Captcha code, then click the “Next” button to proceed and reset your password.
A new PIN (password) will be sent to your registered mobile number or email address. If you do not see any email, please double-check the junk folder of your inbox.
If your browser cannot display the Captcha image, please clear your history/cookies/catches, or use a different browser option, and try again.
Reset password via the website
To reset the password via the axi.com website, scroll down to the bottom of any page and click the “Reset Password” link.
You will be redirected to a new page where you can reset your password by clicking the “Reset your MT4 password” button.
If your browser cannot display the Captcha image, please clear your history/cookies/catches, or use a different browser option and try again.
Changing Master Password via MT4 (laptop only):
- Open the MT4 platform
- Click “Tools”
- Then click on “Options”
- On the “Server “tab, click “Change”
- Type your current master password
- Click “Change master password”
- Type the new master password & confirm
- Click “OK” to finish
Changing investor password
An investor password lets a user log into an MT4 account in a read-only view, allowing the user to monitor trades but not place or close trades. Investor passwords are commonly used by clients who want to follow the performance of an account that is being managed for them.
Please note: Changing the Investor password is only possible via the full MT4 platform on a computer (e.g., PC, laptop).
To change the MT4 investor (read-only) password, follow the steps below:
- Open the MT4 platform
- Click “Tools”
- Click “Options”
- On the “Server “tab, click “Change”
- Type your current master password
- Click “Change investor (read only) password”
- Type the new investor password & confirm
- Click “OK” to finalize
