What will happen to my money in the event of my death?
In the event of the death of an account holder, Axi should be notified as soon as possible.
The executor can reach out to our Client Services team.
To facilitate the transfer of funds, we will need the Executor to provide us with the relevant documents and details outlined below:
- Certified Copy of Will - If there is no Copy of the Will, then kindly provide a letter of administration granted by the relevant court authorities.
- Executor's Certified Proof of ID (Front and Back Copies).
- Executor's Complete Name, Contact Number/s, and Relationship to the Deceased.
- Certified Copy of Death Certificate - We will then review of the documents for approval to start the process of returning any outstanding balance and disable the account.
Please Note: The bank account of the deceased cannot be closed before we process the transfer of funds.
