Why does my platform not perform the live update?
When the MT4 platform is closed and a new update is released, the next time you relaunch the platform a message will appear asking you to update your platform.
If you are not getting these updates, the issue may be caused by a firewall stopping the update. To update your platform you may need to temporarily disable your firewall.
To force an upgrade, close the platform, right-click on the MT4 icon, and select ‘Open as Administrator’ (You may need to do this twice). If this does not fix the issue, please contact our Client Service Team
