What is a Chart in MT4?

How to Load a Chart in MT4

1. Open MT4: Launch the MetaTrader 4 platform.

2. Select a Symbol: In the "Market Watch" window, find the financial instrument you want to view. If the "Market Watch" window is not visible, you can open it by pressing Ctrl+M or selecting "Market Watch" from the "View" menu.

3. Open a New Chart:

   • Drag and Drop: Drag the symbol from the "Market Watch" window onto the chart area.
   • Right-Click: Right-click on the symbol in the "Market Watch" window and select "Chart Window" from the context menu.

4. Adjust Timeframes: You can change the timeframe of the chart by selecting the desired timeframe from the toolbar or right-clicking on the chart and choosing "Timeframes" from the context menu.
